Our research group is motivated to solve grand challenges in the area of energy & environmental fields by developing new functional materials for energy storage devices and for environmental applications.

Developing innovative materials for next-generation energy storage and conversion devices. We prioritize enhancing charge transport, interfacial stability, and long-term durability in batteries, supercapacitors, and other energy systems.

Advanced materials for water purifications

Our group designs advanced membranes and functional adsorbents for high-efficiency water purification and resource recovery. Our research focuses on the selective removal of dyes and heavy metals, and emerging contaminants using nanoporous and mesoporous materials.

Plasma Nanocatalysis

Exploring plasma-induced surface modifications to synergistically enhance the catalytic activity of hybrid nanostructures. We aim to maximize the efficiency of energy-intensive reactions by creating highly active catalytic sites via plasma technology.

Exploring plasma–matter interactions at the nanoscale to understand and control material formation and surface modification. Our research builds mechanistic insights and design principles for plasma-enabled nanofabrication and functional surface engineering.
